Friday Fragments?
I found out about this blogging game located at Half Past Kissing Time through one of my new favorite blogs called parenting by dummies. Basically, you write tidbits or fragments about your week that aren’t post-worthy, but are still mentionable. So here goes…four Friday fragments from The (Un)Experienced Mom:

1. I have a hickey on my arm today. No, not from my husband, but from my 4 month old. I think I’ll just tell people it’s a bruise. Oh, ok. Since I am being honest here, I also have a hickey on my boob. I guess that’s what happens when you are blogging while breastfeeding a very hungry pirana baby!

2. I make a mean chilli. I know, I’ve said I can’t cook, and really, I can’t. But even I can’t screw up chilli! Really enjoyed it last night, too.

3. I have a really nosy old neighbor. It’s not the old part that bothers me, but it’s the nosy and annoying part that is hard to deal with. He basically is a bored retiree who likes to get into everyone’s business. He’s outside ALL the time, so if you ever see me saying to the kids “Quick, get inside!” it’s probably because he’s heading over to talk to us. (And I am not against bribing my oldest to get inside quicker!).

4. My husband didn’t quite get how literal kids are until this week when he said to my 2 year old, “Why are you so antsy? Do you have a bug up your butt?” So now my son walks around pulling the diaper wedgie out of his butt saying “There’s a bug in here.” When you ask him where, he says, “Up my butt!” Yeah waiting for the teachers to call me when he says that at playschool. Almost as funny as when he started repeating my husband when we were packing for vacation last month, saying “Time to pack the booze!”

There you have it! Hope you decide to take part in this game, too. Oh, and don’t forget about my “Fill in the Blank Friday” game here!

Have a good one….

I've learned that my two year old has severely limited my vocabulary. What is hysterically funny coming from me is mildly horrifying coming from him.

Fun fragments today!

Too, too funny! I also have a nosy neighbor that will tell you everyone else's business. Also, I don't know if you remember the cartoon t.v. show The PJs with Eddie Murphy as the voice of the main character. Anyway, it was on when my oldest was about 2 and she would repeat a line he always said… damn, stupid crackhead. I know, bedtime for that one, huh!?

Amy – I don't remember that cartoon at all! Didn't even know Eddie Murphy was involved in cartoons. But then again, I've missed a lot the last couple of years for some reason!

Hi! Checking out this blog from Friday Fragments…

just wanted to pass along that my son learned and repeats the phrase "wacky weed." As you can imagine, we're thrilled.

Gotta love how kids will repeat things they here at the most random of times

We have an awful neighbor that we do our best to avoid at all costs… he's not nosy, just awful and mean.

My husband loves to make chili, but he does not like to eat chili-weird, huh?

The hickeys–I remember those days (and don't miss them much :)

Welcome to FF! Thanks for joining in this week. For someone "inexperienced," you sure are good at fragmenting :)
