I’m learning to not only survive motherhood, but to also thrive in it! As a mom of 2, I’ve been a mom now for over 2 years. But that doesn’t mean I know what I am doing! This is a true look into motherhood…raw, real, and definitely not sugar-coated from a mom who feels like a rookie most days. Some posts are funny and some serious, but all are 100% true.
The (Un)Experienced Mom represents the “every day mom,” who often feels like a rookie. Here you’ll find honest opinions about motherhood, products, and life in general. Sometimes humorous, sometimes funny, and 100% real.
Besides the fact that I love to write and I am a social butterfly, I started it to encourage myself and others to accept motherhood for what it is – negative feelings and all. Many of us thought being a mom would come easily and are suprised to find it’s harder than we anticipated (myself included). But feeling that way doesn’t make us bad moms. On the contrary, being honest sets the example for our kids that they should accept all of their feelings. Stress unfortunately is a normal part of life, especially nowadays. So instead of expending energy trying to ignore it, accept it, manage it, and move on so you can embrace the good times. Join me on this journey to a balanced motherhood!
And of course, what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger, right?

Do you conduct product reviews and giveaways on your blog?
Yes I do. As a Social Media Mom Influencer, I enjoy informing others about products they should know about. Many of the products I love are ones I found after someone suggested I use them, and therefore, word-of-mouth marketing can be a powerful too. Blog Design:
Wow. I really like the look of your blog. Did you create it yourself?
Absolutely not! This blog header/blog button was created by Jo-Lynne @ DCR Design. Not only was she a pleasure to work with, but her rates are very attractive. And of course, her design skills are superb as you can see here. Don’t hesitate to check out her website or contact her for further information.
My blog was moved from Blogger to Wordpress by Joy @ Five J’s Design. Not only did she do all of the moving of content, she inserted a new blog theme called Thesis. True to her name, she is a “joy” to work with and I would highly recommend working with her!
Thank you ladies for making my blog look beautiful!
